While reading a Face book status shuffle the other day that mentioned Global warming, my mind began to drift off and think about different things and the words Spontaneous Human Combustion came to my mind. Now for those of you who have never heard those words or the term let me enlighten you quickly. Spontaneous human Combustion is a phenomenon where the human body catches fire, like a flash fire, and burns itself up from the inside out, in other words the person burns to death by a fire that suddenly ignites within their own body, yet no one has been able to figure this phenomenon out, even with all our medical knowledge and breakthroughs in science, it is still a mystery how the human body can do this.
While trying to contemplate how this could happen to a person, I got to thinking that in the realm of the church there will be a day when this phenomenonn will take hold in a major way due to the Global warming that has been raging in the life of the unbeliever ever since man was cast out of the Garden of Eden.
Zephania 1:14-18 (NIV) says "The great day of the Lord is near--near and coming quickly! The cry on the day of the Lord will be bitter, the shouting of the warrior there. That day will be a day of wrath, a day of distress and anguish, a day of trouble and ruin, a day of darkness and gloom, a day of clouds and blackness. A day of trumpet and battle cry against the fortified cities and against the corner towers. I will bring distress on the people, and they will walk like blind men, because they have sinned against the Lord. Their blood will be poured like dust, and their entrails like filth. Neither their silver or their gold will be able to save them on the day of the Lord's wrath. In the FIRE of his Jealousy the whole world will be consumed, for he will make a SUDDEN end of all who live in the Earth." WOW what a statement of what is to come. Because they sinned against the Lord, the Lord is going to just let loose. He is going to consume the world and all in it with the SUDDEN FIRE of jealousy,. Spontaneous Sinner (Human) Combustion.What a strong prophesy he delivered to warn us that the Global Warming (SIN) that many in this world take very lightly will eventually cause an eruption of God's jealousy that will lead to the sudden but eternally lasting pain and suffering of burning in the lake of fire (Rev 20:14).
But take heed that this fire can be put out before it starts, and the Global warming (SIN) of the flesh can be cooled and by just following the simple command that Jesus gives to the world in Luke 13:3 Repent for the kingdom of Heaven is at hand.
Are you facing a day when the flame of sin inside you will erupt and burn you from within and condemn you to an eternity in the lake of fire, or are you exploding from within with the Joy of knowing that a heavenly home awaits you when that day comes. I pray that the answer to that question is an easy one for you brothers and sisters, but if not then rest assured that there is still time to call out to Jesus and repent of your sins and reserve your spot in Heaven. I close this blog with Psalms 55:16 As for me , I will call upon God, and the Lord shall save me!!!
